 The video sharing app tiktok management has said that it will ban ads that promote bodyshaming.

According to the news agency Reuters, ticktalk developers said on Wednesday that ads that promote fasting applications and weight loss supplements will be banned. The video sharing app has said that these ads will also be banned, including diet and weight loss products. Tick talk is owned by the Chinese company bytedance and is the focus of political fighting between Washington and Beijing. 

Bytedance is trying to stop the closure of its application in the us. President trump's administration had expressed concern that up to 100 million American citizens who use this app are given data to the communist party of China.
